FLUSH FICTION

A hush fell over the room as Uncle John rose and addressed the gathered masses.

"Prepare to be entertained by this unique collection of short-short stories--all fewer than 1,000 words--handpicked by the master story-teller himself, Uncle John. Whatever genre you're into--humor, mystery, romance, horror, adventure, sci-fi, or slice-of-life--it's in here...You'll laugh! You'll gasp! You'll go places you've never been before thanks to some of the nation's most talented fiction writers. So sit back and settle into these 88 tiny tales that all pack a really BIG punch!"

And, my friends, my story, "Headhunter," is included in the line up! I've been waiting on this puppy since I got the word back in December.

Uncle John's Bathroom Reader Presents Flush Fiction: 87 Short-Short Stories You Can Read in a Single Sitting

Wow. 87 stories you can read in a single sitting. That's a looong sitting.

So, the title and the description differ in count between 87 and 88 tales. Hmm. Hopefully "Headhunter" isn't the story that's teetering in the balance, on the verge of vanishing, waiting for the final fatal flush.
